I think it's funny because of the disparity of age. If Cheese had been something like an 8 year-old, Bloo's exasperation just wouldn't have the same comic effect.

His eyes open and he sees Cheese's big yellow head just inches away, and Cheese says Daaadyyy in that sinister Cheese voice. That's how I wake up each morning, just before Bryan jumps on me, piledriving his knee into my gut.
